Magic: The Gathering is hosting another Dungeons & Dragons crossover, but this time it's not a full-on expansion. Secret Lair x Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the characters portrayed by Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, and Hugh Grant to the wildly popular card Game.

Announced during today's D&D Direct, the new Secret Lair brings six unique Legendary creatures in both foil and non-foil formats. These include Xenk, Paladin Unbroken; Simon, Wild Magic Sorcerer; Forge, Neverwinter Charlatan; Holga, Relentless Rager; Doric, Nature's Warden; and Edgin, Larcenous Lutenist.

I'd say none of these cards are particularly ground-breaking, but they're certainly potent enough to warrant consideration. Xenk looks like the perfect addition to an Aura-centric white deck, while Forge could be good for Treasure-focused black decks. Holga is a little on the expensive side, but she's not a bad win condition for a Commander deck with some red in it. Doric is pretty great value when you manage to transform her into her Owlbear form, and Edgin looks like a real pain with his ability to goad creatures and foretell spells.

Elsewhere in today's D&D direct, we got a look at the new Minecraft D&D DLC. Players will be able to choose their class, explore voxelized versions of famous places in the Forgotten Realms, and stab mimics before they consume your blocky flesh. Expect stats, d20 rolls, and even a fully-voiced GM. Expect the Minecraft D&D DLC to arrive later this spring.
