Celtic are set to clash with Aberdeen in the semi-finals of the Premier Sports Cup, with fans eagerly anticipating a showdown between two of Scotland’s top teams.

The match is scheduled to take place at Hampden Park between either November 2nd or 3rd, where the Hoops will aim to continue their strong form following a thrilling second half victory over Falkirk this afternoon.

Brendan Rodgers’ side demonstrated remarkable resilience this afternoon with Nicolas Kühn stealing the show, contributing with both goals and assists, while Adam Idah and Paulo Bernardo also impressed.

Aberdeen themselves are in great form under Jimmy Thelin, with 12 wins from 12 under the Swede.

The Dons are currently second in the Scottish Premiership and, like Celtic, are yet to lose a Game.

Time will tell if Thelin’s side can maintain that form until the League Cup semi-final, with a match against Celtic at Celtic Park on October 19th serving as a good indication ahead of the semi-final.

Given the tough Game Aberdeen gave Celtic in the Scottish Cup semi-final in April, taking the Hoops to penalties, Brendan Rodgers and his players will be aware of the challenge the Dons will present, especially considering their recent form.
