Bronny James’ Name For LeBron James On The Court

Bronny James and LeBron James will team up next season on the Los Angeles. The dynamic between them promises to be interesting.

Last week, LeBron admitted that it has been hard for him to focus during Lakers practice with Bronny there.

It will be fascinating to see how things play out between them when games actually tip off.

One thing LeBron has been very vocal about up to this point is what he wants Bronny to call him on the basketball court.

Or more specifically – what he doesn’t want him to call him.

“He cannot call me ‘dad’ in the workplace,” LeBron noted.

“At home, I could be ‘dad.’ [But on the court], he’s gotta call me ‘2-3’, or ‘Bron,’ or ‘GOAT’ if he wants to. That’s up to him … [But he] cannot be running down the court and be like, ‘Dad, I’m open!’ He cannot do that.”

This week, during an appearance on GoJo and Golic, LeBron was asked if Bronny had come up with a name for him yet.

“You know what? He has not said anything yet,” LeBron said.

“He has not given me a name yet on the practice court, and I actually have my ears so open, waiting for that moment.”
