Premier League champions Manchester City will bring their season to a close on Sunday with a trip to Brentford.

Pep Guardiola confirmed his players had 'drunk every drop of alcohol in Manchester' after sealing their latest title and they are just 90 minutes away from being able to take the celebrations into overdrive for the summer.

They'll close the campaign out against a Brentford side who are still mathematically in the race for Europa Conference League qualification, although the Bees need a win here and both Tottenham and Aston Villa to drop points against Leeds and Brighton respectively.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Man City team news

Nathan Ake is 'in the latter stages' of his recovery from injury but Guardiola has made it clear he does not intend to risk the Dutchman, who will likely be kept on the sidelines to protect him for the upcoming cup finals. The same could go for centre-back John Stones, who limped off against Brighton with what was threatening to become a muscle injury.

Jack Grealish, Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and Manuel Akanji were all surprise absentees from the squad due to unspecified injuries, and with so little on the line here, it's unlikely any of them will feature here. That could lead to a change in formation as Guardiola looks to name the safest team possible.

Phil Foden picked up a knock in midweek but is thought to be fine.

Brentford vs Man City score prediction

Brentford are never scared of the big teams, particularly not on home soil, and they will definitely take the game to City here in search of the three points they need to have any hope of qualifying for the Conference League.

Against a City side who may have already checked out with both eyes on their upcoming finals, don't be surprised if the Bees get something out of this Game.

Guardiola won't start throwing on stars to try and win a dead rubber and so, if Brentford get ahead early, this could be their Game to win.

Prediction: Brentford 2-1 Man City
