This week’s NHL schedule is feast or famine due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Tonight brings 7 Games and Wednesday doubles up that number with 14 matchups on tap. There are no Games on Tuesday and Thursday. With great slates on days there actually is hockey, fans will be in for a treat. Tonight features a few fantastic matchups beginning at 7PM ET. Before there are no Games tomorrow, hopefully you will have time to take in Monday’s Games.

This is a solid day of action and you can make it even more intriguing by checking out our NHL mega parlay at +991 odds below. You can also read our NHL predictions for picks on all of today’s games.

Colorado Avalanche -1.5 (+150)

New York Rangers vs Dallas Stars under 6 (-122)

Vancouver Canucks win and over 6.5 (+140)

NHL mega parlay odds: +991

Colorado Avalanche -1.5 (+150)

This is a lopsided matchup in favor of the Avalanche no matter how you slice it. Colorado is 11-5-0 and their 22 points are 2nd in the Central and 5th in the Western Conference. Their 3-headed monster of Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen, and Cale Makar far exceeds the Predators’ best players. Pure matchup alone leans Colorado.

The Predators are 6-10-0 overall this season including 3-7-0 in their last 10 and 1-4-0 in their last 5. Of their 10 losses so far this season, there have been 7 losses by 2+ goals. With that, the Predators are 7-9 against the spread while the Avalanche are 10-6 against the spread. This +150 is great value.

New York Rangers vs Dallas Stars under 6 (-122)

For multiple seasons now, both the Rangers and Stars have leaned on a team strength of goal prevention to be successful. The same has proven true so far this season. Once again, neither New York nor Dallas have great goal scoring, but they have great goal prevention.

That combination of average at best goal scoring but elite goal prevention is a great recipe for low totals. The Rangers allow the 2nd fewest goals per Game in the NHL and the Stars allow the 10th fewest. Both teams reside in the top 6 in league standings. There is a small margin of error in this Game with which strengths and trends should lead to a low total.

Check out our New York Rangers vs Dallas Stars predictions.

Vancouver Canucks win and over 6.5 (+140)

This is another very lopsided matchup. The Canucks sit 4th in the league standings and have the best goal differential in the NHL at +30. The Sharks sit last in the league standings and have the worst goal differential in the NHL at -47. Vancouver has already beat San Jose this year by a score of 10-1. Bettors do not need to overthink the winner of this Game.

Vancouver hit the over on their own last head to head matchup. If they bring even half the results as that game, the over will have a good chance. The over has hit in Vancouver’s last 5 games, in 5 out of their last 6 at home, and in 9 straight against San Jose. Until things change even a little bit, ride the trends.
