We were so close to landing Sunday’s NBA Mega Parlay, but unfortunately LeBron James had other plans in mind as he sank that last second free-throw vs the Rockets to ruin our bet. Today is a new day though, so let’s try to bounce back with Monday’s 8-Game slate!

For in-depth analysis and picks on the spread and total simply head over to our NBA predictions page.

Let’s jump into it right now!

MIL Bucks -9.5 (-110)

NY Knicks ML (+124)

MIA Heat -1.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +716

MIL Bucks -9.5 vs WAS Wizards (-110)

At 3-3 the Bucks haven’t exactly impressed so far in road games, but they’re slowly coming about and are currently on a 4 game win streak. Their last 2 away games finished with 31 and 16 point victories at Charlotte and Toronto, on paper tonight’s game against the slumping Wizards looks a lot easier than both of those. There are no significant injuries to report from the Bucks side, I was impressed with their scoring against the Mavs over the weekend as they shot over 52% from the field and almost 38% from three.

Milwaukee is 8-2 SU in the last 10 meetings, they’ve also won 7 of the last 8 at Capital One Center. If the Bucks take this game seriously, which they should be doing, there is no way Washington can come within striking distance. Milwaukee is just way better at every single position, in their last 4 games they’ve scored 17, 22, 20 and 15 threes. Give me the Bucks to cover here.

NY Knicks ML vs MIN Timberwolves (+124)

All good runs must come to an end at some point, right? The Minnesota Timberwolves enter tonight’s game at 5-0 SU at Target Center, they are just 1 of 3 remaining undefeat home teams in the entire NBA. However, these two teams have exchanged victories in the last 6 meetings, splitting the last 3 regular season series. Last season the road team won each time, so maybe we are in for a similar scenario this time around? The Knicks are one of those rare teams in the NBA that play seemingly better on the road than at Madison Square Garden.

They find themselves in midst of a 5-game road trip which ends tonight in Minneapolis. Jalen Brunson has upped his production lately, leading the scoring in 5 of their last 7 games. He’s gone over 20 points in the last 3 of 5 vs Minnesota, whoever is guarding him tonight will have his hands full. It’s always a fun match-up when Tom Thibodeau plays his former team, except if you are Anthony Edwards. Ant-Man is averaging only 18.3 points per game in 4 meetings with the Knicks, if New York is able to keep him under control here they have a pretty solid chance of upsetting the odds. The Knicks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and have covered in 6 of their last 9 vs Western Conference opponents. Back them to upset the Timberwolves.

MIA Heat -1.5 vs CHI Bulls (-110)

And to wrap things up I have the Miami Heat covering as 1.5-point favorites against the Chicago Bulls. These two teams just played each other a couple of days ago and after opening the game on a 22-1 run, the Heat went on to lose by 5 points, which ended their 7-game win streak. It was only the 3rd win for Chicago in their last 10 games, they’ve covered the spread just 3 times in their last 9 at United Center. It wasn’t the prettiest of games to watch, with both teams opting to slow down the tempo of play and focus on defense. Something similar is to be expected for tonight’s game.

The beauty of this new NBA schedule now gives Miami an opportunity to bounce back just 2 days later and I expect them to do just that. This Heat team has a lot of pride in them, you just know that players like Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will be extra motivated after what happened in Saturday’s Game. Miami is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 visits to United Center, they’ve also beaten 4 of their last 5 opponents from the Eastern Conference. Considering the overall shape the Bulls are in, I find it hard to believe they can take down one of the elite teams in the East twice in a span of just 2 days. Give me Miami all day long here.
