The week in Major League Baseball continues with a full 15-Game slate on Tuesday. It includes Atlanta at Boston, Milwaukee at Philadelphia, Minnesota at the Yankees and a nightcap between San Francisco and Arizona.

Here are my 2 favorite player prop bets for Tuesday and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Adley Rutschman, BAL, Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (-155)

Everything points toward Rutschman having a huge day at the office when Baltimore pays a visit to Toronto. The 26-year-old catcher is on a 7-Game hitting streak and has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 contests. This stretch includes 3 multi-hit performances (1 of the 3-hit variety), 10 total RBIs and 3 runs scored.

Rutschman now gets to face Jose Berrios of the Blue Jays, whom he absolutely owns. The #1 overall pick in the 2019 draft is a dominant 12-for-19 (.632) lifetime against Berrios with 3 home runs and 2 doubles. He has also walked twice without striking out a single time. Even at a relatively steep -155 price, this play is still worth it. Rutschman should go crazy on Tuesday night.

George Kirby, SEA, Over 5.5 strikeouts (-120)

The Mariners and Athletics have struck out more times than any other team in Major League Baseball this season. They are going head-to-head tonight, so expect the Ks to be in abundance.

I anticipate the majority of them to come from Seattle starter George Kirby. The right-hander has exceeded this 5.5 number in 6 of 12 starts in 2024, including in 5 of the last 9. He has gone way over more than a few times, with numbers of 8, 12 and 8 again in his most recent outing against the Astros last Wednesday. Pitching on a full 5 days of rest, Kirby should be ready to befuddle an Oakland lineup that has fanned 595 times this year. The A’s have also struck out a ridiculous 63 times in their last 6 contests.
