Atlanta Braves Betting Preview
The Braves took on the Washington Nationals over the weekend. That set didn’t go very well. Atlanta won Thursday 5-2 then fell 2-1, 7-3 and 8-5 in the remaining Games. On Tuesday versus the O’s, the Braves took a 4-0 shutout loss. Starter Max Fried gave up all four earned on six hits and two walks.
In the starting pitcher role for Atlanta on Wednesday it’ll be Spencer SchwelleNBAch. This year SchwelleNBAch is 0-2 with an 8.38 ERA and nine Ks in 9.2 innings over the first two starts of his career.
Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview
Over on the Orioles’ side, they took on the rival Tampa Bay Rays this past weekend. Baltimore did great in that series, taking wins 6-3, 5-0, 9-2 and 5-2 for a four-Game sweep. On Tuesday versus the Braves, the O’s scored three runs in the second inning alone. Albert Suarez lasted 5.1 innings in the starting role with four hits and three walks.
It’ll be Cade Povich in the starting role for Baltimore on Wednesday. So far this season after his lone start (the first of his career), Povich is 0-1 with a 10.13 ERA. He’s got two Ks in 5.1 innings.

Baltimore Orioles vs Atlanta Braves Prediction
I’ll probably stay with the O’s, but I could go either way here. It’ll be interesting to see what the starters can do. Povich gave up six earned in 5.1 innings during his first start. As for SchwelleNBAch, he’s given up nine earned in 9.2 innings during a pair of outings.
On Tuesday the Orioles didn’t have a great night offensively—outside of Jorge Mateo’s three-run homer, that is. Austin Hays had three hits and the other RBI as well, but not a lot happened at the plate otherwise. Baltimore is going to need to get the bats going Wednesday.
