Over on the Orioles’ side, they took on the rival Tampa Bay Rays this past weekend. Baltimore did great in that series, taking wins 6-3, 5-0, 9-2 and 5-2 for a four-Game sweep. On Tuesday versus the Braves, the O’s scored three runs in the second inning alone. Albert Suarez lasted 5.1 innings in the starting role with four hits and three walks.

I’ll probably stay with the O’s, but I could go either way here. It’ll be interesting to see what the starters can do. Povich gave up six earned in 5.1 innings during his first start. As for SchwelleNBAch, he’s given up nine earned in 9.2 innings during a pair of outings.

On Tuesday the Orioles didn’t have a great night offensively—outside of Jorge Mateo’s three-run homer, that is. Austin Hays had three hits and the other RBI as well, but not a lot happened at the plate otherwise. Baltimore is going to need to get the bats going Wednesday.
