Austin Reaves Gets Honest About When He Stopped Hating LeBron James
Austin Reaves is currently the third best player on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Because of that, he has a certain freedom to speak out that others may not.
Reaves has taken advantage of that by being reasonably blunt about Bronny James being on the Los Angeles Lakers.
This week, Reaves touched on another interesting topic: when he finally stopped hating LeBron James.

During a recent interview, Reaves revealed in fairly honest terms when he finally stopped hating James.
“I’ve asked LeBron a lot of questions,” Reaves confessed.
“More than he probably wants me to, to be honest. But when you’re playing with the greatest of all time, how do you not try to pick his brain?
“I’ve asked him what he thought his greatest year was, not in terms of championships but in terms of peak athleticism, skill, and knowledge. For me, I think his best year was the year they lost to K.D. and Steph in the Finals. That was the year I finally stopped hating him.”
James’ incredible efforts throughout that historic rivalry wit the Golden State Warriors, including when he finally guided the Cleveland Cavaliers to their first and only title in franchise history, was probably his best work ever.
Obviously James was physically a better player during his Miami Heat days, but that Cleveland championship was special.
It’s unsurprising that Reaves was impressed by James then – everyone was.
