An Australian tourist has found herself the target of cruel online trolls after sharing an innocent photo of a trip to a children’s orphanage in Bali.

Newcastle woman Kelsey Foster took time out of her tropical getaway this week to donate food and spend time with the children at an Indonesian orphanage.

“The amount I took will feed the children for a long time and they were nothing but grateful. It was amazing to learn about them and talk with them and see them smile,” Foster shared on social media.

“The shop I purchased all this from is a small family store, the money used to purchase this food from them will now also feed her family for more than two weeks!”

However, what should have been a feel-good post was soon swooped on by merciless online trolls, who attacked Foster over her choice of clothing in photos with the children.

“You’re a textbook grandiose narcissist, instead of doing a nice thing you had to post a million selfies to show everyone how ‘selfless’ you are ... when in reality it’s all about validation and likes and attention. Put the saggers away too, you’re clearly pushing 40 ... grow up,” one woman hit out.

“It’s such an awesome thought that shows your caring nature. Next time it would prob (sic) be much more respectful to keep your puppies inside your clothes. It’s not something children need to experience at a young age,” another user wrote.

Foster has since clapped back and refused to let the trolls get to her.

“It was 33 degrees with major humidity, I had the swimsuit on from the morning and we were already in the area when collecting the food,” she shared later, adding “I ain’t mad, I know what I did means a lot”.

Friends have also jumped to her defence, saying her clothing plays no role in her good deed.

“Yay, their faces are so worth it, I I bet it would of made you feel so good to do that for them,” one person said.

“Your an inspiration Kelsey you truly are don’t worry about the negativity, we need more kind souls like this,” another wrote.

“How stupid, OMG! What you wear should have nothing to do with it! What you did is amazing. You look absolutely amazing also,” another friend added.
