Aaron Judge breaks records of New York Yankees legends
Aaron Judge is showing why he’s one of the best players in Major League Baseball. His at-bats are lethal and accurate, and it was the San Francisco Giants’ turn to experience his offensive power.
The “Bronx Bombers” captain hit two home runs against the Bay lineup, starting the month of June on a high note. The 2022 American League MVP winner also broke Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig’s record for most extra-base hits with 25.
In the same calendar month, Judge achieved 26 extra-base hits, a feat that places him among the greats of the ‘Bronx Bombers’: Joe DiMaggio with 31 (July 1937), Lou Gehrig with 29 (July 1930), and Aaron Judge with 26 (May 2024).
