A tourist saved and carried home a puppy with a damaged spine.

The life of an abandoned puppy is full of misfortune , where every day is a challenge to survive the hardships the streets bring him. Desolation, hunger, and severe physical and emotional trauma are part of the reality of a large number of stray furry friends hoping to be rescued and enjoy a better new opportunity.

Fortunately, no matter how bleak the picture may seem, there will always be people willing to bet on making a difference and changing the lives of the most vulnerable with gestures. small definitely gives them the happy ending they deserve.

A puppy with a broken spine is saved by a kind woman and her family

This is the story of a puppy who was tormented for a long time, barely able to move, malnourished, and with a sad expression on his face .

When he believed that all was lost, earthly angels appeared who, upon seeing him, could not ignore his situation and did everything possible to improve his quality of life. The puppy was seen by Kiara Ijzendoorn and her family while on vacation in Crete, Greece .

Many stray dogs suffer from the apathy of some people.

Ijzendoorn could not believe what he was seeing, much less imagine the painful situation the puppy was in and decided to help him . When he found him, the puppy was in a serious state of Health:

“His leg was totally paralyzed. She had a large bulge on her back due to her fractured spine. We stopped the car so she could crawl out of the way, but she looked like a sack lying there.”

The young woman tried to investigate a bit in the hope of finding an answer that would help her understand the puppy’s situation, but she only discovered that he lived completely alone in an abandoned barn very close to the road where he had seen him lying .

During his stay in Greece, Kiara visited him for several days where she provided him with food, water, and most importantly, made him feel loved.

He decided to name it Fos, which means “bright” in Greek.

Despite the terrible situation in which he found himself, Fos was always very receptive, every time they visited him his little eyes had a special shine, he showed his love with sweet kisses and in his own way he thanked them for everything they were doing for him .

The puppy had completely won Kiara’s heart, so she officially decided to adopt him.

When a veterinarian attended Fos, he determined that due to the seriousness of his injuries , the cute little dog had been mistreated in the past .

In order to recover his health, he had to undergo treatment for a few days until he could finally be taken to his new home in the Netherlands, where Kiara and her family live.

Fos was sent to his new family in the Netherlands.

The puppy couldn’t be happier. At last he was able to have a family that would take care of him and fill him with love regardless of the past he may have had.

A gesture of love that ended up transforming the life of a puppy.

Fos’s recovery has been slow but has shown great changes compared to the state in which it was found . Little by little, Ijzendoorn and his family begin to understand the little dog that reveals some fears. His new owner says:

“He walks better now and his bump is not as big. He is afraid of older men and some cats.

Fos couldn’t be happier to have found a family that will take care of him and give him all the love he deserves . Regardless of the scars from his past, the most important thing is that his family is doing everything possible because his present is full of love and infinite joy.
