2024 Irish Open: How to watch on TV, stream online | DP World Tour
The first round of action at the 2024 Amgen Irish Open gets underway on Thursday morning (12 September) with the action running through to Sunday where the winner will be crowned with the tournament being staged at the spectacular Royal County Down Club in Newcastle.
Two of the confirmed participants are Shane Lowry, a local favorite and the 2019 Open Champion, who is determined to reclaim the title he first won in 2009 as an amateur as well as Rory McIlroy who will be back on home soil in Northern Ireland.
Apart from the interest that both McIlroy and Lowry will generate, other members of the Irish Golfing elite such as Padraig Harrington, Seamus Power, and Tom McKibben will be part of the other star-studded lineup at their home national open tournament.
The Irish crew will be joined by the multiple European Tour winner Tommy Fleetwood from England, the 2021 champion from Australia Lucas Herbert, and recent PGA TOUR winners Aaron Rai, Thomas Detry, and Erik van Rooyen.
When and where is the 2024 Irish Open being staged?
The 2024 Amgen Irish Open will take place from September 12th to 15th at Royal County Down in Newcastle, Co Down. It is a DP World Tour event and while it no longer has Rolex Series status, it is still an important event on the schedule – only five regular DP World Tour events have a bigger prize fund.
How to watch the Irish Open in the US?
